About the Role

As a Remote Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to assist dentists and hygienists during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring smooth operations and a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists and hygienists during examinations and procedures.

Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are sterile and equipped with necessary instruments.

Perform preliminary patient assessments and take vital signs.

Process digital X-rays and other diagnostic images.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using our electronic health record system.

Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, procedures, and post-operative care instructions.

Manage inventory of dental supplies and instruments.

Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Dental Assistant certificate or diploma preferred.

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.

Proficiency with digital radiography equipment and software.

Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote work.

Current CPR certification.
