About the Role

As our Remote Veterinarian, you will be the cornerstone of our virtual veterinary clinic. Your primary responsibility will be conducting thorough telemedicine consultations via secure video platforms. You will diagnose common illnesses, provide expert advice on pet nutrition and behavior, develop personalized wellness plans, and offer compassionate support to pet owners navigating their pet’s health journey. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of veterinary medicine, and the ability to build trust remotely. You will work closely with our veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure seamless, high-quality care delivery from the comfort of your home office in Florida.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Current, unrestricted state veterinary license in Florida (or ability to obtain one).
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical veterinary experience, with a strong background in general practice and preventative care.
• Proven expertise in telemedicine consultations and digital health platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to pet owners.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs.
