Your day will involve a dynamic mix of scheduled appointments and on-call triage shifts, all managed through our secure, state-of-the-art platform. Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough virtual consultations for a wide range of non-emergency and urgent pet health concerns.
• Accurately interpret pet owner descriptions, photos, and videos to form differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and recommend in-person follow-ups when clinically necessary.
• Collaborate with our network of local in-person veterinarians for referrals and complex case coordination.
• Maintain meticulous, timely electronic health records within our proprietary system.
• Participate in occasional team training sessions and case review meetings.

Requirements & Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed veterinarian who is not only clinically excellent but also excels in clear, empathetic communication without physical examination. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient, and passionate about leveraging technology for good.

Mandatory Credentials:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted veterinary medical license in at least one U.S. state. Multi-state licensure is a significant advantage and we support the application process for additional states.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in small animal general practice or emergency medicine.
• Proficiency in using computers, web applications, and high-quality video/audio equipment.
• A private, quiet, and professional home office space that ensures client confidentiality.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with or strong interest in veterinary telehealth/telemedicine.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, sometimes variable, schedule.
• Comfort with navigating digital prescription and pharmacy networks.

Compensation & Benefits Package

We compensate our veterinarians competitively and generously, recognizing the high level of skill and responsibility this remote role demands. Your earnings are based on experience, license portfolio, and performance metrics.

Salary Range:

$85,000 – $120,000 USD/year
This is a salaried position with potential for performance-based incentives. The range reflects variations based on state licensure, years of experience, and volume of consultations.
