About the Role: The Future of Trucking Education

As a Remote Truck Driver Trainer, you will lead interactive, virtual classroom sessions and simulator-based training for aspiring commercial drivers. You will conduct live video lectures, evaluate student performance on simulation software, provide one-on-one coaching, and grade written assessments. Your real-world stories and expertise are the cornerstone of our program’s 95% first-time CDL pass rate. This is a full-time, 100% remote position with set teaching hours, eliminating unpredictable schedules and time away from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum-based lessons on vehicle control, safety protocols, DOT regulations, and defensive driving via video conferencing platforms.
• Monitor and guide students through hands-on simulator exercises, providing real-time feedback.
• Grade assignments, quizzes, and behind-the-wheel simulation reports.
• Participate in bi-weekly curriculum development meetings with our instructional design team.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to program advisors.

Requirements: Your Experience is Your Credential

We need professionals who have lived the life of a trucker and can teach it with authority. This role is not for newcomers.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record for at least the past 3 years.
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) or heavy-duty truck driving experience.
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and patiently (teaching, training, or mentoring experience highly preferred).
• Own a reliable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download) and a dedicated, quiet home workspace.
• Must be a resident of the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Pass a comprehensive background check and provide professional references.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with simulation training software (e.g., TruckSim, a similar platform will be provided and trained on).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Canvas or Moodle.
• Certification in adult education or workforce training.
