About the Role

In this position, you will leverage your destination knowledge and sales acumen to consult with clients, understand their travel aspirations, and design personalized itineraries. You’ll manage the entire booking process, from flights and accommodations to unique tours and experiences, ensuring seamless execution. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth consultations via phone, video call, or email to capture client needs, budgets, and travel dreams.
• Design and present detailed, customized travel proposals and itineraries.
• Book all travel components using industry-leading global distribution systems (GDS) like Sabre or Amadeus.
• Provide expert advice on visas, vaccinations, local customs, and travel insurance.
• Manage client relationships pre, during, and post-trip, acting as the primary point of contact for any issues.
• Stay ahead of travel trends, destination updates, and supplier offerings through continuous learning.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales and booking targets.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience in travel sales, consulting, or a high-touch customer service role (2+ years preferred).
• Demonstrable expertise in using a Global Distribution System (GDS) for booking.
• Outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—with a consultative sales approach.
• Self-discipline and impeccable time-management skills to thrive in a remote, results-driven environment.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a dedicated quiet workspace, and proficiency with video conferencing tools.

Preferred Attributes

• Personal extensive international travel experience.
• Existing network or niche expertise (e.g., luxury safaris, European river cruises, adventure travel).
• Certifications like a Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or destination specialist credentials.

Salary Range

Base Draw + Commission: Estimated $45,000 – $65,000 USD/year
This is a target earnings range. The role includes a modest base draw against commission, with the potential to earn significantly more based on performance. Top performers in our network consistently exceed $80,000 annually. Commission is paid on all net bookings.
