About the Role

GlobalGeodesic Solutions is seeking a detail‑oriented Surveyor to lead field‑to‑digital workflows for infrastructure, construction, and environmental projects. You will interpret design documents, operate advanced positioning equipment, and produce precise geospatial datasets that drive decision‑making across the organization. The position is 100 % remote, allowing you to work from any location while maintaining close virtual collaboration with engineers, project managers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Operate GNSS, total stations, and laser scanning hardware to collect high‑accuracy field data. Process and validate survey measurements using industry‑standard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and ArcGIS. Generate detailed plat maps, topographic models, and as‑built drawings for internal and client deliverables. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure data integrity and project timelines are met. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior survey technicians.

Requirements

Education & Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Geosciences, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of three years of professional surveying experience. Proven track record of delivering accurate surveys for large‑scale projects is essential.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with GNSS receivers, total stations, and drone‑based mapping platforms. Strong command of CAD and GIS applications, including ArcGIS Pro and Global Mapper. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and building codes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional licensure (e.g., State Certified Surveyor) is a plus. Experience with photogrammetry software such as Pix4D or Agisoft Metashape. Familiarity with cloud‑based data management platforms and version‑control systems. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, remote environment.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary Range

$48,000 – $62,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience and certifications.
