About the Role

As a Remote Surveyor, you’ll play a critical role in our operations by conducting virtual property surveys, analyzing boundary data, and preparing comprehensive reports for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. You’ll work closely with our field teams, engineers, and clients to ensure every project meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Review and analyze property deeds, title reports, and existing survey records
• Interpret aerial imagery, GPS data, and GIS information to create accurate boundary determinations
• Prepare detailed survey reports, plats, and legal descriptions for client delivery
• Collaborate with field surveyors to verify data accuracy and resolve boundary discrepancies
• Ensure all work complies with state regulations, local ordinances, and industry standards
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and title companies to address questions and provide expert guidance
• Utilize advanced surveying software and technology to streamline workflow processes

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
• Professional Surveyor (PS) license or ability to obtain licensure in your state
• Minimum of 2-4 years of professional surveying experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software platforms
• Strong understanding of boundary law, platting regulations, and land development processes
• Experience with GPS equipment, total stations, and data collection methods
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and surveying-specific software
