About the Role

As our Remote Surveyor, you will be the cornerstone of our field data collection efforts. You’ll utilize state-of-the-art surveying equipment and software to conduct precise measurements, create detailed site plans, and generate accurate topographic surveys. Your work will directly inform critical decisions for construction projects, land development, and resource management. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong technical proficiency, and the ability to adapt to various project environments and deadlines.

Requirements

**Proven Experience:** Minimum 3 years of professional surveying experience, including land surveying, construction staking, or topographic mapping.

**Technical Proficiency:** Expertise in using GPS/GNSS receivers (RTK/PPK), total stations, and related surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Leica Geosystems software).

**Certifications:** Current Texas Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is mandatory. Proficiency in drone surveying (UAV) is a significant plus.

**Skills:** Exceptional spatial reasoning, advanced trigonometry, strong understanding of legal descriptions and property boundaries, excellent communication skills for client and team collaboration.

**Equipment:** Reliable high-speed internet connection, dedicated workspace with minimal noise, and access to necessary surveying software (company may provide licenses).
