About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our virtual team. Key Responsibilities

Salary Range

Based on industry standards and experience level, the salary range for this Remote Substance Abuse Counselor position is typically $45,000 – $65,000 USD per year. Compensation may vary depending on location, experience, and specific employer.

Requirements

Education and Certification

• Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Valid state license as a Substance Abuse Counselor (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent)
• Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or equivalent certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in substance abuse counseling
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches (CBT, MI, etc.)
