About the Role

We are seeking dedicated, licensed Substance Abuse Counselors to provide individual and group counseling services to adults and adolescents struggling with addiction. In this 100% remote position, you will manage a caseload of clients via secure video conferencing, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating recovery-oriented sessions. You’ll become part of a national network of clinicians, supported by a robust administrative team that handles scheduling, billing, and compliance, allowing you to focus on what you do best: clinical care.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family counseling (CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, etc.).
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and peer support specialists.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings via video conference.
• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and company policies regarding telehealth service delivery.

Requirements

We are looking for qualified professionals who are passionate about accessible behavioral health care. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, tech-savvy, and able to build strong therapeutic connections in a virtual setting.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent (e.g., CADC, LCADC) in at least one U.S. state. Multi-state licensure is a strong plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing direct clinical counseling for substance use disorders.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a private and professional home workspace, and a computer with a camera.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, crisis intervention, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including some evening hours to accommodate client availability.

Compensation

This is a full-time, exempt position with an annual salary range of $55,000 – $75,000 USD, commensurate with experience, licensure, and geographic factors. Part-time opportunities may be available on a pro-rata basis. Additional compensation opportunities may exist for supervision or specialized program development.
