About the Role

As a key member of our engineering division, you will take ownership of structural designs from conceptual stages through construction administration. You will collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors using cutting-edge collaboration tools. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and innovation of our projects, which range from high-rise commercial towers to sustainable infrastructure. This is not a 9-to-5 job; it’s a mission to build better, requiring disciplined self-management and proactive communication in a distributed team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and composite systems using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAFE, RISA-3D).
• Prepare detailed construction documents, calculations, and specifications.
• Conduct peer reviews and value engineering analyses to optimize designs.
• Participate in virtual design meetings and present technical solutions to clients and agencies.
• Ensure all designs comply with international building codes (IBC, ASCE 7) and local amendments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in structural design for building projects.
• Expert proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Deep, practical knowledge of building codes, load combinations, and material behavior.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear remote collaboration.
• A dedicated, quiet home office setup with a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with seismic design and retrofits.
• Familiarity with BIM 360/ProjectWise or similar cloud-based collaboration platforms.
• Background in sustainable design and LEED certification processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in compensating top talent exceptionally well for their expertise and impact. This is a full-time, exempt role.

Salary Range

$85,000 – $125,000 USD/year

The final offer will be determined based on your proven experience, technical depth, and geographic cost-of-living adjustments. High performers are eligible for significant annual bonus opportunities tied to project success and company profitability.
