About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Design & Analysis: Perform detailed structural calculations and create comprehensive design drawings for steel, concrete, timber, and composite systems using industry-standard software like ETABS, SAFE, Revit, and RISA.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs meticulously adhere to international building codes (IBC), local amendments, ACI, AISC, and other relevant standards and regulations.
- Project Collaboration: Participate in virtual design reviews, coordinate with MEP engineers and architects, and provide constructive technical input throughout all project phases.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear technical specifications, calculation reports, and construction documents. Produce detailed shop drawing reviews and respond promptly to RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Mentorship & Quality: Review the work of junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the remote team.
What We’re Looking For
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in structural engineering within the building/construction industry.
- Expert proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAP2000, Revit Structure).
- Deep, practical knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and load path concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- U.S. citizenship or authorized work status (due to project security requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with seismic design and wind load analysis, particularly for complex or high-rise structures.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows and clash detection.

Compensation & Benefits
