About the Role

As a Strategic Adviser at Innovate Strategies Inc., you will operate as a principal-level thought partner for our most ambitious clients. You will be embedded in their strategic planning cycles, challenging assumptions, identifying non-obvious opportunities, and designing frameworks for sustainable growth, M&A, or digital transformation. This is a remote position with a global client base, requiring deep analytical rigor and the executive presence to influence decisions at the highest level. Your work will directly impact billions in enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive Counsel: Serve as the primary strategic sounding board for 3-5 C-level executives, providing candid, data-informed guidance on market entry, competitive strategy, and operational pivots.
• Opportunity Synthesis: Conduct deep-dive analyses across industries to uncover white-space opportunities, potential disruptions, and viable partnership or acquisition targets.
• Blueprint Development: Translate high-level vision into comprehensive, phased strategic roadmaps with clear KPIs, risk mitigations, and resource allocation plans.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate and lead workshops with board members and senior leadership to build consensus and secure commitment to strategic initiatives.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to the firm’s intellectual capital by authoring whitepapers, speaking at industry forums, and shaping our proprietary strategic frameworks.

What We Require

This is not an entry-level or mid-career role. We require a proven track record of shaping strategy at the highest echelons of business.

Essential Experience & Skills

• 12+ years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) OR as a Chief Strategy Officer / SVP Strategy within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech company.
• Demonstrable history of advising on and executing at least two major corporate transformations (e.g., successful market entry, $500M+ M&A, business model pivot).
• Exceptional analytical horsepower combined with stellar communication skills. You can distill a 100-page market analysis into a 10-minute narrative that persuades a skeptical board.
• Mastery of strategic frameworks (Porter’s Five Forces, Blue Ocean, Value Chain) and financial modeling for strategic decision-making.
• Unwavering discretion and absolute client trust. You will handle the most confidential information.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, asynchronous environment with minimal supervision, managing your own schedule across global time zones.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a senior principal role with compensation commensurate with the immense value you will create. We believe in transparent and aggressive pay.

Salary Range

$185,000 – $350,000+ USD per year
Final compensation is based on experience, proven impact, and a performance-based bonus structure tied to client retention and project success.
