About the Role: Telepractice That Matters
As a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with a wide range of communication disorders—from articulation and language delays to social-pragmatic challenges and complex augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs. You will manage a virtual caseload, typically serving K-12 students in school districts across the nation, via a secure, user-friendly telepractice platform. This isn’t just video calls; it’s interactive, evidence-based therapy tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
Your day will involve conducting engaging teletherapy sessions, writing progress notes and reports, participating in virtual IEP meetings with parents and school teams, and collaborating with fellow SLPs and clinical directors. We provide all the clinical tools, student assignments, and a robust library of digital therapy materials. Your expertise and compassionate guidance are the critical ingredients.
Your Impact Will Include:
- Improving speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication skills for diverse learners.
- Empowering students to find their voice and build confidence in academic and social settings.
- Partnering with families and educators to ensure carryover of skills into the student’s natural environments.
- Contributing to a model of accessible, high-quality special education services.
