About the Role

As a Remote Software Developer, you will be a core part of our agile engineering squad, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust features for our primary SaaS platform. You’ll move beyond simple bug fixes to own significant components of our system, from initial conception and prototyping to production launch and maintenance. This is a hands-on role where your code will directly drive our product’s evolution and user experience. We operate on a modern tech stack and value clean, testable, and efficient code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and ship high-quality, production-ready code for web applications and services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to elevate team standards.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the stack, optimizing performance and reliability.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape our long-term technical roadmap.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.

Technical Requirements & Experience

We are looking for a developer with a solid foundation and a passion for learning. The ideal candidate is proficient in our core stack but is equally excited about adapting to new tools and challenges.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one major framework like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with a server-side language such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Go, or Java.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows (GitFlow, PR-based).
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for effective remote collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, New Relic, ELK Stack).
• Background in microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal GitHub portfolio.

This role has a base salary range of $95,000 – $145,000 USD per year, with potential for an annual performance bonus and equity grant to share in our company’s success. Final compensation will be determined based on your interview performance, role level, and geographic location within our pay bands.
