About the Role

As our Remote Safety Manager, you’ll be the cornerstone of our organization’s commitment to employee well-being. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust safety programs aligned with OSHA standards and Texas regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
• Lead incident investigation processes, implement corrective actions, and track safety metrics.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for all employees.
• Collaborate with management and employees to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Prepare and present safety reports and recommendations to leadership.
• Stay current with evolving safety laws and best practices relevant to Texas industries.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Safety Manager or similar role, preferably within a Texas-based or multi-state operation.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA standards (General Industry, Construction, or Maritime) and Texas-specific safety regulations.
• Exceptional communication and training skills to effectively convey complex safety concepts.
• Experience using safety management software (e.g., EHS software, incident management systems).
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven safety program development and improvement.
• Remote work experience and proficiency with collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams).
