About the Role

The Safety Manager will partner with cross‑functional teams to create a culture of safety that aligns with industry best practices and company objectives. This role requires a proactive leader who can translate safety policies into actionable plans, conduct virtual training sessions, and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, update, and maintain corporate safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Conduct virtual hazard assessments and risk analyses for remote and field operations.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs via webinars, e‑learning modules, and live workshops.
• Track incident reports, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

• Collaborate with HR and operations to integrate safety considerations into onboarding, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive safety management experience, preferably in a multi‑site or remote‑work environment.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, ISO 45001, and risk management methodologies.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver virtual training content that engages diverse audiences.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience using safety management software and data analytics tools.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities to drive safety culture change.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote setting.
