About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Remote Safety Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that protect our employees and ensure regulatory compliance across all remote and hybrid operations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and training programs tailored for remote work environments.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of remote workspaces (home offices, co-working spaces) to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Manage incident investigation processes for remote work-related incidents, ensuring thorough analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for remote employees, covering ergonomics, cybersecurity best practices, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA, etc.) for remote work operations.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and department managers to integrate safety considerations into company policies and remote work guidelines.
• Utilize safety management software to track incidents, training completion, and compliance metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Safety Manager, EHS Officer, or equivalent role, with specific experience managing safety programs for remote or distributed workforces.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation preferred.
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels, regardless of location.
• Proficiency in safety management software (e.g., SafetyCulture, ComplyWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to conduct thorough virtual inspections and analyze safety data remotely.
