About the Role & Your Impact

You will be the cornerstone of our safety strategy, developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs that comply with all OSHA and industry-specific regulations. Working fully remotely, you will leverage digital tools for audits, training, incident investigation, and data analysis. Your primary mission is to foster an environment where every employee returns home safely, by designing systems that empower safe behaviors and mitigate risks before they occur.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Conduct virtual and on-site (as needed) safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead root cause analysis for all recordable incidents and near-misses, implementing effective corrective actions.
• Manage OSHA 300/300A logs and ensure timely, accurate reporting of all safety data.
• Deliver engaging virtual safety training sessions and maintain comprehensive training records.
• Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators, preparing dashboards and reports for leadership.
• Serve as the primary safety consultant for operations, HR, and leadership teams.
• Stay current with evolving OSHA standards, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety management within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or a similarly regulated environment.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation is highly preferred.
• Expert-level knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910, 1926, etc.) and MSHA standards.
• Proven experience with safety management software (e.g., Intelex, VelocityEHS) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for virtual presentations and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and influence change in a matrixed organization.

Salary Range

$85,000 – $115,000 USD per year
Final compensation will be based on qualifications, certifications (CSP/CIH), and proven track record in remote safety leadership.
