About the Role

As our Remote Safety Manager, you will be the cornerstone of workplace safety excellence for clients operating within California. You will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs, ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Your expertise will be instrumental in preventing incidents, reducing risks, and fostering a culture where safety is paramount. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and evaluate safety policies, procedures, and programs aligned with OSHA standards and California-specific regulations.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide expert guidance and training to management and employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of safety initiatives across projects and sites.
• Maintain meticulous records of safety programs, inspections, and training, ensuring regulatory reporting accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Safety Manager or equivalent role, preferably within California’s construction, manufacturing, or healthcare sectors.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation preferred.
• Deep understanding of California Labor Code, OSHA standards, Cal/OSHA regulations, and relevant industry-specific safety requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
