About the Role

As a Remote Safety Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs across our organization. You’ll work closely with various departments to identify potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in creating a culture of safety and preventing workplace incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct virtual safety audits and inspections
• Provide safety training and education to employees
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
• Prepare and present safety reports to management
• Collaborate with HR on safety-related employee matters

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in safety management
• Professional Safety Certification (CSP, CIH, or similar) preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficient in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with virtual training platforms
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this Remote Safety Manager position is $65,000 – $85,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This range is based on industry standards for remote safety management positions.
