About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs and policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for all employees.
• Collaborate with management to integrate safety goals into business objectives.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports, including OSHA logs and incident documentation.
• Stay abreast of evolving safety regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive safety experience, including leadership roles.
• Proven experience in developing and managing safety programs in a manufacturing, construction, or similar industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (40-hour HAZWOPER preferred) and other relevant safety standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
