About the Role

As a Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in expanding access to mental health services for underserved communities nationwide. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives through telepsychiatry.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments via secure video platforms
• Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications following state regulations
• Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
• Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and telehealth best practices

Requirements

Education & Credentials

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health
• Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC preferred)
• Active, unrestricted RN and NP licenses in multiple states (willingness to obtain additional state licenses)
• DEA registration and valid prescriptive authority
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric care

Technical & Skills Requirements

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable with technology and willingness to adapt to new platforms

Salary & Compensation

$130,000 – $160,000 USD/year

Compensation is competitive and based on experience, credentials, and number of state licenses. Additional performance bonuses and incentives are available for high-performing practitioners.
