Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments, including history-taking and symptom evaluation via video consultation.
• Formulate accurate diagnoses, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and prescribe medications within Ontario’s regulatory framework.
• Provide clear, compassionate patient education and counseling on health conditions, preventive care, and wellness strategies.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously and efficiently in our integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff through digital channels to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Adhere strictly to all privacy, security, and professional practice standards, including those set by the CPSO.

Requirements

Essential Credentials

• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Completion of an accredited medical school and residency program.
• Board certification or eligible in a relevant specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, etc.) is an asset.
• Possession of a valid Ontario medical liability insurance policy (occurrence-based preferred).
• Authorization to work remotely from a private, quiet, and HIPAA/PIPEDA-compliant home office space in Ontario.

Core Competencies & Experience

• Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in clinical practice, with telehealth experience being a significant plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust through a digital medium.
• High proficiency with computers, video conferencing software, and EHR systems; quick to learn new digital tools.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

$180,000 – $280,000 CAD/year
Compensation is commensurate with experience, specialty, and clinical volume. Our model often provides higher earning potential than traditional practice by reducing overhead costs. Payment is issued on a bi-weekly direct deposit schedule.
