Remote Personal Care Aide Position

About the Role

As a Remote Personal Care Aide, you will be the vital link between our clients and their well-being. Your primary responsibility is to deliver personalized, non-medical care and companionship to clients in their own homes. This role focuses on enhancing quality of life through attentive support, fostering independence, and ensuring safety. You will work closely with clients, their families, and our care coordinators to understand unique needs and provide consistent, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Offer companionship, engage in meaningful conversation, and provide emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the client’s care (e.g., laundry, tidying living spaces).
• Administer medications as directed (training provided).
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to the care team.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Prior experience providing personal care or home health aide services (1+ years preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for local travel to client homes).
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on client needs.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.

Desired Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
• Experience working with specific populations (e.g., dementia, Parkinson’s, post-operative recovery).
• Proficiency in using basic computer software for documentation.
