About the Role

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you’ll deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. This fully remote position allows you to conduct sessions via secure video conferencing platforms while maintaining a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in our secure EHR system
• Participate in weekly team consultations and case presentations
• Stay current with emerging research and best practices in clinical counseling
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare providers when appropriate

Requirements

Education & Credentials

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related clinical field from an accredited institution
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent state credential
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing therapeutic services
• Ability to maintain licensure in multiple states (compact licensure preferred)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health records
• Ability to work independently while maintaining connection with a team

Salary Range

$55,000 – $85,000 USD/year (commensurate with experience, credentials, and state of licensure)
