Remote Mental Health Counselor for U.S. Residents | Transform Lives from Your Home Office

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to deliver high-quality, remote therapy services. In this fully remote role, you will manage a caseload of clients seeking support for anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more, all within a flexible, supportive, and technology-enabled practice.

About the Role

As a cornerstone of our growing telehealth team, you will conduct virtual individual therapy sessions using our secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Your days will involve comprehensive clinical assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based interventions (such as CBT, DBT, or ACT). You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and have access to ongoing supervision and professional development resources. This is a full-time remote position (40 hours/week) with the freedom to design your schedule around your life, while maintaining core availability for client sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 45-50 minute virtual therapy sessions with a diverse adult client population.
• Perform initial clinical assessments and formulate effective, collaborative treatment plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation in our EHR system.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and individual clinical supervision (as needed for license maintenance).
• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and state-specific telehealth regulations.

Requirements

We are looking for a clinician who is not only licensed and competent but also passionate about remote care.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in at least one U.S. state. Please note we cannot accept provisional or associate licenses.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing direct therapeutic services.
• Proven experience and comfort with telehealth/teletherapy platforms and digital documentation.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a private and professional home office space, and a computer that meets our security standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong commitment to client confidentiality.

Highly Preferred Attributes

• Experience with or certification in specific modalities (e.g., Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, IFS).
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient or community mental health setting.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in compensating our clinicians fairly for their vital work. This is an independent contractor role.

Salary Range

$50,000 – $70,000 USD/year

Compensation is based on a competitive per-session rate, with potential for productivity-based bonuses. Your exact earnings will depend on your maintained caseload volume.
