About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our distributed engineering team. As a key contributor, you’ll be responsible for creating and improving mechanical designs that meet our clients’ needs while adhering to industry standards and best practices. Salary Range

$55,000 – $85,000 USD/year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software
• Develop design concepts and prototypes for new products
• Analyze and modify designs to improve performance and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and product management
• Ensure designs meet specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Document design processes and maintain accurate design records

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience with simulation and analysis tools
