About the Role

As a key member of our engineering division, you will own the complete mechanical design lifecycle for assigned projects. Working from your home office, you will collaborate with project managers, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers via digital channels to ensure every design is optimized for performance, cost, and assembly. Your work will directly influence the physical products that reach our global客户 base.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models (using SolidWorks or similar) and production-ready 2D drawings with complete Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Perform design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA) analysis to streamline production.
• Create and maintain design documentation, specifications, and revision controls.
• Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and basic kinematic simulations.
• Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams through daily stand-ups, design reviews, and project documentation.
• Interface with external vendors for prototyping and component sourcing.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Expert proficiency in SolidWorks (preferred) or equivalent parametric CAD software (Creo, Inventor, NX).
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) per ASME Y14.5.
• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes: machining (CNC), sheet metal, injection molding, casting.
• Experience with PDM/PLM systems for data management.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for clear remote collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Attributes

• Experience in the industrial machinery, automation, or consumer goods sector.
• Basic FEA (Finite Element Analysis) experience for structural validation.
• Knowledge of standard fasteners, bearings, and linear motion components.
• Familiarity with basic electrical/mechanical integration (routing harnesses, mounting components).

Salary Range

The base salary for this position is $75,000 – $95,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and skill level. This is a exempt, full-time role.
