About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, developing prototypes, and contributing to the design of innovative mechanical products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs using CAD software
• Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to refine designs
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
• Prepare technical documentation and specifications
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
