About the Role

As a Light Truck Driver with our company, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries across your designated region. This position combines the independence of local driving routes with the support of a world-class dispatch team—all accessible remotely through our cutting-edge driver app. You’ll handle various deliveries, from packages to smaller freight items, while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

What You’ll Do

• Operate light trucks (Class C vehicles) for local deliveries within your assigned territory
• Follow optimized routes using our GPS and mobile dispatch technology
• Load and unload cargo safely, adhering to weight restrictions and proper lifting techniques
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
• Communicate with dispatch and customers via our remote communication platform
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery challenges promptly through the driver app

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years)
• Minimum of 1 year of driving experience with a reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Smartphone with data plan for our driver application (we provide stipends)
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift

Preferred Experience

• Previous delivery or courier experience
• Familiarity with local geography and navigation apps
• Experience with proof of delivery applications and technology
• CDL permit or willingness to obtain one in the future

Salary Range

$18.00 – $28.00 per hour (depending on experience, location, and performance bonuses)
