About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) to join our distributed team. Core Responsibilities

• Review and certify boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking plans.
• Analyze field notes, GPS data, CAD drawings, and legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Research property records, deeds, and historical survey data to resolve complex boundary discrepancies.
• Prepare and finalize legal descriptions, plats, and survey reports for client submission and recording.
• Provide expert guidance and technical support to field personnel and project managers.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to all relevant state licensing boards’ rules and regulations.
• Utilize surveying software (e.g., Carlson, Trimble Business Center, Autodesk Civil 3D) and GIS tools for analysis.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Licensure: Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in good standing in at least one US state. The ability to obtain licensure in additional states within 6-12 months is a strong plus.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skill in interpreting legal descriptions, metes and bounds, and survey plats. Mastery of CAD software (AutoCivil, MicroStation) and surveying data processing packages.
