About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual IT strategic plan and budget, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Oversee all IT infrastructure, including network architecture, cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity protocols, and data management systems.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of systems administrators, network engineers, and security analysts in a fully remote structure.
• Implement and maintain enterprise-grade security measures, disaster recovery plans, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Evaluate and procure new technologies, software, and services; negotiate vendor contracts and SLAs.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor to C-suite executives, translating complex IT concepts into clear business language.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI integration, and process re-engineering.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for system uptime, security incidents, and project delivery.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of enterprise network design, cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS), and hybrid system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Proven experience managing IT budgets exceeding $1M and conducting ROI analyses for major tech investments.
• Demonstrated success in leading remote technical teams, including hiring, performance management, and professional development.
• Exceptional communication skills; ability to present to non-technical stakeholders and negotiate with technical vendors.
