Key Responsibilities

Patient Coordination & Triage

• Conduct virtual patient interviews to gather comprehensive medical and dental histories.
• Verify insurance benefits and provide clear cost estimates before treatment.
• Triage urgent patient concerns and escalate appropriately to the on-call dentist.

Clinical Support & Documentation

• Prepare detailed patient charts and treatment plans for dentist review and approval.
• Assist dentists during live video consultations by managing records and tools.
• Provide clear, empathetic instructions on pre- and post-operative care via email and video.

Administrative Excellence

• Maintain HIPAA-compliant digital records and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient recall systems.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

• Active Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in your state of residence. We welcome assistants licensed in any U.S. state.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical dental assistant role.
• Proven proficiency with dental software (Dexis, Eaglesoft, Dentrix) and EHR systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for virtual patient interactions.
