Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify patient charts and digital radiographs (X-rays) prior to virtual consultations.

• Assist the dentist during live video consultations by managing tools, documenting findings, and providing real-time support.
• Create and send post-consultation care plans, prescriptions (as directed), and follow-up instructions to patients.
• Coordinate with dental laboratories and specialists for cases requiring physical appliances or referrals.
• Manage scheduling, patient communications, and insurance verifications using our practice management software.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data security protocols in a remote environment.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor technical issues for patients during video sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Credentials & Experience

• Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in your state of residence (or a state with reciprocity).

Salary Range
