Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing accurate load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit studies.
• Creating and maintaining detailed panel schedules, conductor sizing, and specification reports.
• Coordinating seamlessly with other design disciplines (HVAC, plumbing, structural) to resolve conflicts and ensure integrated building systems.
• Reviewing shop drawings and submittals from contractors to verify adherence to design intent.
• Participating in design charrettes, client meetings, and project close-out documentation.

What You Bring (Requirements)

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in electrical design for commercial, institutional, or industrial buildings.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of AutoCAD and/or Revit (MEP) is non-negotiable. Familiarity with BIM 360/ACC and Navisworks is a strong plus.
• Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local amendments. Understanding of IBC and NFPA 70E is valuable.
• Education: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills for clear virtual collaboration, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines independently.
