About the Role

As a Remote Attorney, you will be an integral part of our client-facing legal practice. You will advise on corporate, contract, and regulatory matters, draft and negotiate legal documents, and provide risk mitigation strategies. This role eliminates the traditional law firm grind, offering you complete control over your schedule and workspace while maintaining the high-stakes, intellectually challenging work you excel at. You will collaborate with a supportive team of legal professionals across the country via video conferencing and collaborative platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate governance, contracts, and compliance issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, and SLAs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and mitigate risk.
  • Manage a personal caseload with a focus on efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and paralegals in a fully virtual team environment.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting our client industries.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in legal practice and the self-discipline required for remote work. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative, and passionate about leveraging technology to deliver exceptional legal services.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar (any jurisdiction).
  • 3-6 years of professional legal experience, preferably in corporate law, contracts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Proficiency with legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Asana, etc.).

Salary Range
