About the Role

As our **Remote Information Security Analyst**, you will be the frontline defender of our organization’s digital infrastructure. You’ll proactively identify vulnerabilities, analyze security incidents, and implement robust controls to protect sensitive data and systems. This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for cybersecurity, operating entirely from your home office to provide continuous security monitoring and threat mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.

Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and develop actionable remediation plans.

Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.

Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).

Provide security awareness training to internal stakeholders and contribute to the development of security best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Development, Legal) to integrate security into all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Requirements

**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

**Certifications:** CISSP, CISM, GSEC, or equivalent industry-recognized certifications (CISSP strongly preferred).

**Experience:** Minimum 3 years of proven experience in information security roles, including vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.

**Technical Skills:** Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight), vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys), and threat intelligence platforms. Strong understanding of network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS), cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), and endpoint security.
