About the Role

We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our dedicated Security Operations Center (SOC). You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents across our global infrastructure. This role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, analyzing security logs, investigating security breaches, and implementing effective countermeasures to strengthen our defenses. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining compliance and fostering a culture of security awareness within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and incidents 24/7 using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar).
• Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and contain threats promptly.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
• Analyze security logs and data to detect anomalous activity and potential breaches.
• Implement and maintain security controls and best practices (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Assist in developing and updating security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar role.
• Proven expertise with SIEM tools (Splunk, IBM QRadar, etc.) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of common attack vectors (e.g., malware, phishing, ransomware) and mitigation techniques.
• Experience with security incident response frameworks and forensic analysis.
• Current CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification is highly desirable.
