As a key member of our logistics team, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, adhering to strict time and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

* Operate a tractor-trailer truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations
* Deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
* Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it’s in good working order
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as fueling, cleaning, and performing minor repairs

Requirements

* A CDL-A license with at least 2 years of experience in heavy and tractor-trailer truck driving
* A clean driving record, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
* Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the transportation of goods
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
* Physical stamina to perform the demands of the job, including long hours and irregular schedules
