Are you an experienced CDL-A driver tired of endless weeks away from home? We offer a true regional driving position where you’ll be home every single week. Based in the Midwest, this remote role provides the independence of the open road with the stability of predictable home time, all while earning a top-tier income with a company that treats you like family.

đź’° Estimated Salary Range

$55,000 – $75,000 USD/Year (Based on experience, route consistency, and performance bonuses). This is a salaried/hourly hybrid role with overtime eligibility. Our top performers consistently exceed $75,000 annually with our lucrative pay structure and bonus programs.

About the Role & The Opportunity

This is not a typical over-the-road (OTR) position. As a Remote Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver for our Midwest-focused operations, you will run dedicated and loop routes within a 500-mile radius of your home terminal. You’ll transport a variety of freight—from dry van to flatbed loads—for established manufacturing and distribution clients. The “remote” aspect means all your pre-trip planning, communication with dispatch, and paperwork are handled digitally via our driver app, allowing you to focus on driving and completing your route efficiently. We provide the equipment, the freight, and the support; you provide the skill and professionalism.

Why This is a Game-Changer for Professional Drivers:

  • True Regional, Home Weekly: Guaranteed 1-2 days at home every week. No month-long disappearances.
  • Modern, Well-Maintained Equipment: Drive late-model tractors (2020+) with automatic or manual transmissions available, equipped with comfort features and the latest safety tech.
  • Predictable Schedules: Most runs are 4-5 days out, with consistent start times. No random overnight call-outs.
  • 100% Remote Coordination: All logging, dispatch communication, and proof-of-delivery is digital. No need to visit a terminal for daily check-ins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a heavy tractor-trailer (53′ trailer) on regional routes across the Midwest (IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MO, OH, WI, etc.).
  • Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections on your vehicle.
  • Secure various types of freight (palletized, shrink-wrapped, flatbed loads) using proper tie-down techniques.
  • Complete all digital documentation ( Bills of Lading, fuel reports, logs) accurately and promptly via our ELD/tablet system.
  • Maintain exceptional safety standards and a clean driving record.
  • Provide outstanding customer service at delivery and pickup locations.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Active CDL-A License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must reside within a reasonable distance (approx. 100 miles) of our primary Midwest hub areas to ensure efficient dispatch.

Preferred (But Not Always Required):

  • Experience with flatbed, dry van, or refrigerated freight.
  • Prior experience with tarping or oversize/overweight loads (training provided for eligible candidates).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting.
