Join our pioneering healthcare technology firm as a Remote Health Data Analyst and be at the forefront of revolutionizing patient care through data. We’re seeking a detail-oriented professional to leverage advanced analytics to uncover critical insights hidden within complex health datasets, driving strategic decisions that improve outcomes and operational efficiency across our national network. This is your chance to make a tangible, positive impact on millions of lives from anywhere in the country.

About the Role

As our Remote Health Data Analyst, you will be the vital link between raw health data and actionable intelligence. Your core responsibilities will include designing and implementing sophisticated data collection and analysis frameworks specifically tailored for healthcare applications. You’ll clean, validate, and transform vast amounts of clinical, operational, and financial health data into meaningful metrics and visualizations. Collaborating closely with clinical teams, product developers, and executive leadership, you will translate complex data findings into clear, compelling reports and dashboards that inform critical business strategies, enhance patient safety protocols, and optimize resource allocation. This role demands a passion for healthcare, a meticulous approach to data integrity, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data models and ETL pipelines for health data integration from disparate sources (EHRs, claims, registries, wearables).
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and trend identification on large-scale health datasets.
  • Create and maintain dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports using SQL, Python, R, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to visualize health metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Document methodologies, processes, and findings for internal stakeholders and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related quantitative field. A Master’s degree is highly desirable. We require extensive experience (5+ years) in healthcare data analysis, specifically with clinical data, claims data, and population health metrics. Proficiency in SQL is mandatory, alongside strong programming skills in Python or R. Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI) is essential. Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR), privacy regulations (HIPAA), and data governance principles is non-negotiable. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to bridge the gap between technical data and strategic decision-making.

Benefits

Experience the freedom and flexibility of a fully remote work environment. Enjoy a competitive salary package aligned with industry standards for a Health Data Analyst ($70,000 – $100,000 USD/year), along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, generous paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth within a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving healthcare through innovation.
