About the Role

• Extract, clean, and integrate data from electronic health records, insurance claims, and public health registries using advanced SQL queries and Python scripting.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports in Tableau and Power BI to track key performance metrics such as readmission rates, treatment efficacy, and cost trends.
• Perform statistical analyses, including multivariate regression and survival modeling, to uncover hidden patterns and forecast future health outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for clinical workflow optimization and product development.
• Ensure all data handling processes comply with HIPAA regulations and internal data governance policies, maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy.

Requirements

Education & Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline (a Master’s degree is strongly preferred).

• Minimum of three years of professional experience analyzing health‑related data within a hospital, health system, insurance, or biotech environment.

• Proficiency in SQL for complex data queries, along with strong Python skills using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

• Expertise in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, with a proven ability to create compelling, decision‑ready visualizations.

• Solid foundation in statistical techniques — regression analysis, hypothesis testing, clustering, and time‑series forecasting — and the ability to apply them to real‑world health data.
