About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Analyze large healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical software to identify trends in patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness
• Create comprehensive reports and visualizations dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to present findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with clinical teams to understand data requirements and translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Ensure data quality and integrity by developing validation protocols and conducting regular audits
• Support regulatory compliance by generating required documentation and reports for HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
• Participate in predictive modeling projects to forecast patient admission rates, disease trends, and resource needs

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 2-4 years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar analytical role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, or SAS)
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of healthcare data standards including ICD-10, CPT, HL7, and FHIR
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts
• Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations including HIPAA compliance requirements
• Strong statistical analysis skills including regression, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
• Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macro creation

Salary Range & Benefits

Compensation
