About the Role

As a Health Data Analyst at our organization, you’ll play a critical role in bridging the gap between raw healthcare data and strategic decision-making. What You’ll Do

• Collect, clean, and validate healthcare data from multiple sources including EHR systems, claims databases, and patient registries
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends in patient outcomes, readmission rates, and treatment effectiveness
• Collaborate with clinical teams to translate data findings into actionable quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
• Present findings to stakeholders including hospital administrators, physicians, and executive leadership
• Support population health management initiatives and value-based care programs

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar analytical role
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and predictive modeling techniques
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
• Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements including HIPAA and CMS guidelines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) or similar industry certification
• Experience with Python or R for advanced statistical analysis
