About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the operational P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization across all departments.
  • Design and implement core business systems (project management, CRM, communications) to eliminate friction and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Lead a small team of operations coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor company-wide KPIs, creating transparent dashboards that track health from team throughput to customer onboarding speed.
  • Champion our remote culture by refining asynchronous communication protocols, meeting hygiene, and virtual collaboration rituals.
  • Partner closely with VP of Engineering, VP of Sales, and Head of Customer Success to align operational capabilities with product and revenue goals.
  • Manage critical vendor relationships, security/compliance (SOC 2), and office infrastructure (for our occasional retreats).

The Impact You’ll Have

Within your first 90 days, you will diagnose our top three operational bottlenecks and launch a project to address one. Within a year, your systems will be credited with reducing cross-departmental handoff time by 25% and improving our operational Runway metric by 15%. This role is the force multiplier that will allow our entire team to do their best work, directly fueling our path to $50M ARR.

Requirements

We are looking for a player-coach with a blend of strategic vision and hands-on grit. The ideal candidate:

  • Has 5+ years of operations management experience, with at least 2 in a high-growth tech/SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing a P&L, building budgets, and improving unit economics.
  • Proven ability to lead remote teams; you are an expert in asynchronous tools (Slack, Notion, Loom) and outcomes-based management.
  • Strong analytical mindset; proficient in Google Sheets/Data Studio or similar BI tools to turn data into action.
  • Experience with SaaS operational tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, Asana, Zapier).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
  • U.S.-based residency is required for our corporate insurance and occasional (less than 10%) travel for team summits.
