About the Role

As a Remote Freight, Stock, and Material Mover, you will oversee the planning, tracking, and execution of material transfers across multiple sites. You’ll collaborate with warehouse teams, carriers, and suppliers using digital tools to ensure timely delivery, accurate inventory levels, and compliance with safety standards. Though the physical movement occurs on‑site, your coordination, scheduling, and monitoring responsibilities are handled entirely from a remote workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor inbound and outbound shipments using transportation management systems.
• Maintain real‑time inventory records and reconcile discrepancies with warehouse staff.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, and third‑party logistics providers to confirm pickup/delivery windows.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
• Identify bottlenecks in the material flow process and recommend workflow improvements.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations through remote audits and training sessions.
• Generate weekly performance reports on transit times, load utilization, and cost per mile.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight coordination, stock control, or material handling.
• Proficiency with TMS/WMS platforms (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle Transportation, Manhattan Associates) and Excel.
• Strong understanding of incoterms, hazardous materials regulations, and load planning principles.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with remote teams and external partners.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize urgent shipments, and maintain meticulous documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in CPIM, CLTD, or Forklift Safety Training.
• Experience with LTL and FTL freight modes, cross‑docking, and intermodal transport.
