About the Role

As a Fire Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and implementing fire protection systems and strategies. Your expertise will be applied to projects ranging from high-rise buildings and industrial facilities to transportation hubs and critical infrastructure. You’ll leverage advanced software tools (like FDS, PyroSim, or equivalent) to model fire scenarios, evaluate system performance, and ensure compliance with international fire safety codes (NFPA, ISO, etc.). This role demands a deep understanding of fire dynamics, suppression technologies, and evacuation strategies, all delivered with a focus on innovation and practical application.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fire risk assessments and hazard analyses for diverse projects.
• Design, model, and validate fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, smoke control, suppression).
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to integrate fire safety seamlessly.
• Stay current with evolving fire safety codes, standards, and technologies.
• Provide expert technical guidance and training to project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in fire engineering design and analysis.
• Proven expertise in fire modeling software (FDS, PyroSim, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of NFPA 101, NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and other relevant codes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Remote work experience with strong self-discipline and time management.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
