About the Role

As a Remote Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in our project’s success pipeline. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing tender documents, and ensuring our bids are both competitive and profitable. This position offers full autonomy and flexibility, allowing you to manage your schedule while contributing to exciting projects across the country.

What You’ll Do

• Review project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to understand scope requirements
• Prepare detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates using industry software
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information
• Develop bid proposals and submit competitive tenders within deadlines
• Conduct cost analysis and profitability reviews for awarded projects
• Maintain and update estimating databases and historical cost information
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to clarify technical details
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in construction or project estimating
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Experience with estimating software such as Procore, Sage, or similar platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities

Education and Certifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• Industry certifications (e.g., CCP, CEP, or PE) are a plus but not required

Salary Range

$55,000 – $85,000 USD/year
