About the Role

As a Remote Estimator, you will be the financial backbone of our project teams. You’ll analyze project plans, gather material and labor data, and produce precise cost estimates that guide budgeting, bidding, and project execution. Your estimates will directly influence client decisions, project profitability, and our company’s reputation for accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and change orders to extract critical data.
• Develop detailed quantity take‑offs using industry‑standard software such as Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, or ProEst.
• Research market prices for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, maintaining an up‑to‑date database.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including contingency allowances, risk assessments, and profit margins.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement specialists, and field crews to validate assumptions and refine estimates.
• Present estimates to senior leadership and clients, articulating cost drivers and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in our cloud‑based estimating platform and ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost codes, and project delivery methods.
